Also included is the original pump that came with the freeze dryer so you will receive two pumps. It is still in the box and has never been used. If you are not familiar with the process, after every cycle of freeze drying, it is required to drain the oil from the pump and filter it.
This is to remove food particles and moisture accumulated during the drying process. Harvest Right sells a plastic container, that you dump your oil in and strain it with gravity. This is messy, time consuming and waste a lot of oil. Vacuum oil isn't cheap. With the filtration system, you don't have to drain, strain, etc.
Just flip a switch and the filtration system does everything for you. The creator of the filtration system holds the only patent for such a system and the man is a genius.
He and his wife provide the best customer service I have ever encountered. He hand builds every unit. The freeze dryer is in excellent condition. I have kept it very clean and taken very good care of it. If you are driving from a distance to pick it up, there is no rush to pick it up.It is in my kitchen.
